Our Shoes are Like Socks!

I am not sure how this happened but last week after Aubriel tried to wear 1 boot and 1 shoe to school because she couldn't find matches I cleaned out the pile of shoes by our back door. This...

is what I found. These are all the shoes with missing matches. Now I can understand how socks can turn up all alone but the shoes have me stumped! Notice they are all Aubriel's or Brody's shoes.
