It's a Gage Thing...

Okay so for about 6 months now whenever we bike on the trail near by our home we pass some graffiti I think is rather cool. But one thing in particular always stood out and reminded me of just about every group picture we have tried to take with Gage. So finally I just had to stop and take the picture that flashed in my mind and pretty much sums up Gage in a nutshell...Now this of course is not to say my poor little baby is a loner by neglect or anything but rather by choice and certainly not in the traditional sense either. He has always just very much liked to stand out. Not in a flashy way like some that need the spot light on them but more in an "I'm going to be my own person" kind of way.And while it has made my kind of crazy when I have wanted all the kids to dress the same and Gage refuses (the picture above was taken with bribes). Or I would like him to stand a bit closer so he at least looks like a family member. I have to admit this is one of my most loved things about him too. When it comes right down to it there is nothing better than being comfortable in our own skin and more importantly not being afraid to show it!Even this picture I find amusing while the rest of us are concerned with the sand in Brody's eyes, Gage is content to do his own thing.Even in jail he is off on his own.
