Our Sweet Six Year Old

The little princess has had another birthday... She has been counting down the days since June 1st. When I asked her what she would like to do on her birthday she said she would like to visit my Aunt Jan and Cousin Amber, ironically both of their birthdays are today as well. Although our visit was not possible since they are spending theirs at Disney World I think she still enjoyed her birthday...

The cake was really quite good so I am not sure what is going on with this picture...Aubriel working on a Father's Day drawing for her Daddy...

The Bellin Run, New Hair Cuts and Last Day of School Pictures...

Here are the kids after their hair cuts yesterday...

Kain of course with his "game face" on...Gage not "looking any different" according to him anyway but the amount of hair on the floor after she was done would say otherwise...Aubriel with her new "short" hair and wispy bangs...Brody... well Brody's we just cut short enough that the curl will spring back in a few weeks so we don't have to take him in every two weeks...and Ozzye didn't get his hair cut yet but we thought we would take a picture anyway just because he is so cute... and that would be Aubriel off camera he is smiling at...Random sweet picture from this week... my heart just melts over the daddy baby pictures... Kain ran for the first time in the Bellin Run (10K) this year. He ran with his best friend, Jonah and his sister Sadie. Since they go right by our house Gage waited to soak them with the super soaker...Of course as you can see we had to wait a while to do so...Kain!Poor Sadie!Gage even saw his friend running in it too...Kain and Jonah...Waiting at the school for the kids to come back...

Picture taken 30 seconds before he got hurt for the second time...Brody after getting hurt not twice but three times, twice doing the SAME thing...

He did not have his game face on today... based on the jammies he has been wearing all day today and his horrible coordination I am wondering if he should have gotten out of bed as early as the rest of us did...and here is a picture from the last day of school. Yeah, it was Kain's last day but Gage was invited to his best friend Sam's house for the annual party anyway... I didn't get any of Kain from that day but I think this one is a great one!

Aubriel and Brody were playing upstairs and I was scared half to death when I wandered into my bedroom with a basket of clothes to put away and found this... in my bed! Then Aubriel thanked me for taking a picture of them...

Picnic Season

Unless you are Aubriel and Brody... They both just came in the house with their bear shaped bottles of Kombucha and Aubriel said...

"Ummm... we are going to picnic inside because there is bugs outside... There was an ant crawling on my foot and it was weird because I thought it might be my kombucha dripping on my foot and then I looked down and it was an ANT!"

Dave looks at me and says... "she is SO your daughter"
