Well the boys went back to school this week on Tuesday! Kain is in 3rd grade this year and has moved up a class. Being in the 3rd/4th grade class means not only all new students (although some he remembers from K, like my dear friend's daughter, Sophia) but a new teacher as well! He is in a split class with Jen and Sara, meaning Jen teaches the morning and Sara teaches in the afternoon BUT Sara is on maternity leave so I think at some point they will be getting a sub, but so far Jen seems great and Kain hasn't had any complaints. She has a blog about the kids' days which I will be linking to mine so you can catch up on what Kain is doing in his classroom! Here is his pic from the first day of school....
Gage is in 1st grade this year and was excited to learn that he got Dayna for a teacher the same one Kain had for 1st and 2nd. She is a great teacher and he has been able to get to know he a little already at Kain's conferences. She certainly makes having to leave Chealsa, the world's greatest K teacher ever, a little easier. Gage was very excited to get back to school this year and although many of his friends are not in his class this year he comes home daily telling me about a new one he has made. He had a few friends start K this year so there is a chance that next year they will be placed in his classroom. I will link the school website to my blog as well which has Dayna's room up on it, although it looks like many pictures are still up from last year which has quite a few of Kain and even one of Brody and I visiting. The Brothers are ready for another year! 
Their Grandma, Laurie, took them school shopping this year for me which was not only super fun for them (much more so than shopping with a crabby mom) but was such a blessing for me as well! Between meeting Chealsa, the awesome K teacher, last year and wanting to go shopping with Grandma I think Aubriel will be more than ready for school come fall, but with her only turning 5 next June we are undecided yet as to when we will send her.
